Sessions. . .

My hypnotherapy practice is based in West London, in Teddington and Twickenham; easily accessible from Richmond, Kingston, Hampton and the surrounding area.

My time with my clients is completely focussed on them and everything is completely confidential and within the strict professional guidelines laid down by the NCH.

I work with you on a 1-1 basis. Our workspace is a private, relaxing and safe environment where you can feel completely at ease.

Prior to our first meeting, we will have a short (15 minute, no obligation) introductory telephone conversation. During this I will ask you to outline your issues and aims and I will explain how Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching works.

Following our conversation, I may ask you to complete a brief questionnaire to guide your thinking about the outcome you are seeking. During our first meeting we will explore this further and discuss how we will work together and for how many sessions.

As we work together I explain to you what we will be doing and how hypnotherapy and trance work. You remain in full control of your senses and surroundings. We simply sit on comfortable chairs and begin our conversation.

Some clients initially work on a particular concern then decide to address broader issues such as setting life goals. As I am both a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Life Coach this can be  a very natural progression. Of course, it is entirely up to you what you decide to work on and for how long.

At the end of a session I might give you some self-help techniques to use in your own time and space, and maybe some homework to help you further develop your  transformative thinking and learning.

At no time will I put you under any pressure to address any matters if you do not wish to do so.

Please Note:

Whilst Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching are proven interventions that bring excellent results it important to be aware that these are not substitutes for medical interventions. If you are in need of treatment for a medical condition (such as clinical depression) you should see your GP. Likewise, you must contitue taking any prescribed medications according to clear advice from you your GP or other medical practitioner.

‘River House is a HIV service based in Hammersmith. We were very fortunate to have Bernadette join the sessional team in 2014. Since then, Bernadette has provided cognitive hypnotherapy for a number of our members, supporting them with a range of challenges including depression, confidence building, anxiety, smoking cessation and substance misuse. Clients have unanimously praised Bernadette’s work and her approach – she is professional, warm and non-judgemental. We have been delighted to have had Bernadette’s skills at River House.’
